White Street Art is the first piece in a conceptual trilogy created by Vincent Bardou, alongside Black Street Art and Wood Graffiti . This series offers a contrasting interpretation of the urban universe, through three materials, three atmospheres, three visions of graffiti.
In this work, the purity of the white background becomes a canvas for reflection. It highlights each line, each bomb, each tag, like so many fragments of a raw and direct visual language. It is an urban, almost silent page, on which the artist has affixed his marks, his codes, and his energy.
A free and assumed technique
Created exclusively with spray paint and Molotow indelible ink, this work is the result of a process that is both instinctive and thoughtful. Vincent Bardou plays with layers, superpositions, free gestures, and textures. Far from conventions, he uses the tools of graffiti as instruments of contemporary artistic expression.
